COVID –19

During these unprecedented times, we ask that you keep up to date with government guidance in order to keep everyone safe.

Academy Procedures

The academy will continue to follow government guidance, and will inform parents and carers of any changes to current teaching and learning arrangements.

What if my child is unwell or is displaying symptoms?

Pupil Absence

We ask that, if you or your child has COVID-19 symptoms, they DO NOT come to school. You must also notify transport (if applicable) and the school immediately.

You can access the NHS Coronavirus Symptoms Advice here.

If your child is able to complete schoolwork, while absent, we ask that you access the education links via the Home Learning Hub, in the first instance. This will give staff time to prepare and send work to you via email or post.

What if my child has new symptoms while in school?

Safety & Prompt Collection

If your child becomes unwell  while at school, we ask that you collect your child immediately. If you have an assigned person to collect your child, please ensure that your arrangements are in line with government guidance. Prompt pick-up enables us to keep all children and adults safe and reduce the risk of  further infection to others.

In the event of a positive case on site: The academy will notify the necessary agencies if there is a positive case on site, and will follow all government guidance with due diligence.
