Welcome to Northgate School where our mission statement ‘ To meet diverse needs, to be ambitious, creative and person centred’ informs our whole school ethos and curriculum. We achieved Arts status in 2008 following the development of the subjects music, drama, art and media over a period of time and the realisation that the ability to achieve in these areas often lead to a dramatic improvement in the confidence and self esteem of our young people that carried over into other curriculum areas within school as well life outside of schools.
