Assessment

Assessment at The Bee Hive a continuous process as students develop new skills and build on existing ones. Our staff know our students very well and use this knowledge to challenge and encourage them in their studies  and skills development. For many of our students the most important part of their time at The Bee Hive is developing their social, independence, confidence and personal skills. Much of this assessment is informal and is shared with the students on a continual basis. As a result of this approach our students excel and many achieve things they never believed possible.

Student progress towards their external qualifications is tracked as they complete units of work and regular RAG (red, amber, green) assessments are completed to identify any students who are not making the progress we expect of them.
